In 1986, Lucas had to sell the group , the only taker was Steve Job.who had been just fired from apple. Job cashed in his apple stock and reportly paid 10 million to Lucas for the company renamed Pixar 

Pixar began making animated filmed 

Job poring 50million into film making with no profit

( Run by John Lasseter ) had to keep fighting to survive  

1991 took even more drastic step

he would keep paying for Pixar only if the employees give all share to him , making him sole owner . JOb began looking around for a buyer.
