Discussed mystery box

  1. What types of movies and TV shows does Abrams create?

Abrams creates action, drama, and science fiction genres movies and TV shows.

  1. What childhood experience inspired Abrams' love of mystery?

Abrams’ grandfather Harry Kelvin inspired him to love mysterious things since he was a child. His grandfather is a man full of curiosity. When Abrams was a child, he saw that his grandfather brought him different radios, telephones, and other electronic devices, and he would open them up to show how they work, why, and what they do, that made Abrams interested in a variety of unique crafts, such as printing, bookbinding, and box making.

  1. How does Abrams describe the type of magic that he lives to use in his work?

He described an unopened mystery magic box. It represents infinite possibilities, hope, and potential. He realized that mystery is a catalyst for imagination and found that life is filled with many mysterious boxes for us to open. For example, when he started thinking about the TV series "Lost", he never thought that he could complete the scripting, casting, and shooting work in a short time. This is like the potential in a magic box.

  1. What is your favorite movie? Why?

My favorite movie is romantic comedies because they are full of relaxing, cheerful, and funny love stories, usually with a happy ending. Forgetting Sarah Marshall is one of my favorite movies. Released in 2008. Directed by Nicholas Stoller.
